"Food is the thread that connects every Indian to their roots."
— Chef Arjun Mehta
The Great Indian Food was born in 2009 from a single, powerful belief — that vegetarian Indian cooking is one of the world's greatest culinary traditions, and it deserves to be celebrated with the same reverence as any other.
Founder and Head Chef Arjun Mehta grew up watching his grandmother cook in a small kitchen in Jaipur. The aromas of freshly ground spices, slow-simmering dals, and tandoor-fresh breads became the foundation of everything he would later create.
Today, 15 years and 50,000 guests later, that same spirit lives in every dish we serve. Our team of chefs brings together expertise from across India — Punjab, Kerala, Rajasthan, Bengal — to offer a menu that is as diverse as the subcontinent itself.
